Esto se puede aplicar a todos los aspectos de la vida, a medida que las ciudades, las empresas, las organizaciones y los pa\u00edses toman mayor conciencia de sus esfuerzos en materia de sostenibilidad y reconocen las \u00e1reas en las que pueden mejorar. En 2021, la EPA de EE. UU. afirma que la agricultura, la silvicultura y otros usos de la tierra representan el 24,1 % de las emisiones globales de gases de efecto invernadero. En el sector av\u00edcola espec\u00edficamente, la mayor\u00eda de las emisiones provienen de la producci\u00f3n de alimentos para animales, el manejo del esti\u00e9rcol y el transporte de mercanc\u00edas a lo largo de la cadena de valor. Otras emisiones pueden atribuirse al consumo de energ\u00eda y a las emisiones indirectas de otros bienes de capital y servicios.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Primeros pasos para mejorar la sostenibilidad de la avicultura<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:12px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#5f6777\">Empieza por tomar medidas precisas.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#5f6777\">Llevar un registro de la magnitud y las fuentes de las distintas emisiones supone un esfuerzo considerable, ya que clasificar las emisiones en las categor\u00edas de Alcance 1, Alcance 2 y Alcance 3, y contabilizarlas, requiere mucho tiempo y una recopilaci\u00f3n exhaustiva de datos para elaborar un informe preciso. La tecnolog\u00eda puede ayudar a aliviar esta carga, ya que la recopilaci\u00f3n de datos se automatiza cada vez m\u00e1s y la generaci\u00f3n de informes se puede realizar con mayor facilidad. Un procesamiento y un an\u00e1lisis m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidos conducen a cambios m\u00e1s inmediatos y a reducciones de las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero en la industria.
