The data science team has created a new bird weight prediction algorithm that doesn’t require bird scales. Using only feed consumption data, we’re able to predict bird weights accurately.

How it works:

This prediction method handles different types of feed systems.

We use algorithms to fill in the gaps of missing data. With any physical hardware, measurements aren’t always perfect. Our algorithms can fill in missing or partial data to obtain good predictions even with wrong metrics.

Handles shared feed bins (where farms have a single feed bin that can feed two different houses)

We’re not just predicting weight, we are predicting all of the following: Weight, Feed Conversion (FCR), Head Sold / Mortality, Feed Consumption

Future evolutions of this algorithm will include other sensor data like water.
